20-ALM Loop Powered Trip Amplifier
- 4-20mA input, alarm relay output
- High or Low alarm user configuration
- LED indication of alarm
- Unique Low cost solution
The 20-ALM can be wired into any 4-20mA current loop and provides a high or low relay alarm output. The setpoint can be adjusted using the setpoint potentiometer and monitored by measuring the voltage on the front panel terminals.
Typically the 20-ALM is used to provide an alarm contact into a PLC from a 4-20mA loop or to switch on an indicator lamp showing an alarm condition has been met. the 20-ALMis a unique low-cost way of getting an alarm contact from an existing 4-20mA loop.
Two relay options can be specified, one switching higher loads at low voltages and the other smaller loads at high voltages. Both AC and DC loads can be switched.
The 20-ALM is housed in a compact DIN rail mounting enclosure.
