The 420-DIG digital isolator allows any high voltage digital signal to be connected to PLC or other I/O cards. A typical application would be to wire the feed to a 230Vac indicator lamp and the output direct to a PLC input, allowing the PLC to know when that indicator was on.
The output isolator acts as a low current relay, allowing PLC digital outputs to switch larger loads and isolate the PLC from any noise generated by the switching.

The 420TWAC is a Current Transfomer input, 4-20mA output 2-wire transmitter.
The 420TWAC can take an 0-1A or 0-5A input from any standard Current Transformer and returns a 4-20mA output proporional to the True RMS of the current input.
This makes the unit suitable for all types of AC waveforms including those from AC inverters or Variable Speed Drives.
It is housed in a compact DIN rail mounting enclosure and is a high accuracy, low cost unit.

Powered from the output side the 420TWHL isolates the incoming signal and provides a clean 4-20mA signal output. Inputs for theTCversion include most thermocouple and mV inputs.
The units are typically used in place of standard DIN rail terminals to provide isolated and clean 4-20mA signals to PLC inputs and other input cards.

Powered from the output side the 420TWHL isolates the incoming signal and provides a clean 4-20mA signal output. Inputs for the RTDversion include 2 or 3 wire PT100 sensors with almost any temperature range.
The units are typically used in place of standard DIN rail terminals to provide isolated and clean 4-20mA signals to PLC inputs and other input cards.

420i Loop Powered Isolator

The 420i is typically used to provide an isolated 4-20mA current loop from any existing 4-20mA loop. This isolated 4-20mA can then be connected to any input stage without affecting other signals connected to the same earth. The output can be connected to any potential within 1kV of the input negative terminal while transients of 2.5kV can be withstood.
Another typical application is to use the 420i to enable two instruments to monitor the same 4-20mA at the same time. The 420iis wired in series with the input of the first instrument and then the output wired to the second.
The 420i also acts as a noise reduction device, giving a ‘clean’ 4-20mAoutput.
