Health and Safety Policy Statement
ClipperTech Ltd are committed to providing a high level of Health and Safety Management throughout the organisation, this Health and Safety Policy has been approved by the Director to demonstrate its commitment and intent to provide safe systems and safe places of work.
It is the policy of the company that its operations are executed at all times in such a way as to ensure, as far as reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all its employees and any persons likely to be affected by its operations, including the public, where appropriate.
Concern for health and safety ranks equally with other management responsibilities and is seen to be an indication of effective working. Failure to observe this policy will be dealt with via the company disciplinary procedure.
Objectives of the policy are:
– Compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act and all other relevant Acts and Regulations;
– To ensure that all personnel receive adequate and appropriate training in relation to their roles and responsibilities with regard to Health, Safety and Welfare;
– To ensure that all employees clearly understand their responsibility for Health & Safety to enable good practice to be maintained throughout the company’s operations.
– The prevention of injury or ill-health to all persons affected by the company’s operations.
– To ensure that safe working practices are observed at all times, with proper regard to any relevant legislation and / or codes of practice.
– To seek to reduce accidents by analysing root causes and trends, establishing proper reporting procedures and investigations and implementing corrective / preventive action.
– To ensure the co-operation and co-ordination of all safety activities with other contractors on site.
– To ensure the provision and maintenance of safe plant and working conditions. To ensure that substances which are hazardous to health are handled safely.
– The company will provide all necessary resources together with all of the necessary information, training and supervision to ensure the Health & Safety of all its employees.
– The company will ensure that all its employees have access to a copy of the Health & Safety Policy and understand its contents. They will be consulted over any significant changes that may be made, as appropriate.
The Health and Safety Policy is the responsibility of Directors and Employees of the company.
The Health and Safety Policy will be held under continuous review and will be updated as necessary; however notwithstanding this a complete review will be carried out every two years and the Health and Safety Policy reissued.
